To Frederick County Commissioners November 2003

  I am writing you in support of retaining the archeology regulation in the 
CZRC zoning report.  I have been following this issue closely.  Frederick is 
a county rich in history.  Without the archeology regulation, we will be 
permanently loosing some of that history.  As a member of the Archeological Society
of Maryland, the Monocacy Chapter and a volunteer at Best Farm - Monocacy 
National Battlefield, I have first hand knowledge of what has been preserved, 
what has been lost and what could potentially be lost in the future.  

   I would ask that you support the archeology regulations, and support 
Frederick's rich prehistoric and historic legacy.
